All cowhide and nubuck is sourced and prepared in East Africa as is the canvas used and all manufacturing is in the workshops of Ark in Nairobi.All zips are precision made from copper alloy and are one piece for easy running and added strength. All metal work is solid brass. This is a young and small company so each item is totally individual and hand made and as the profits are split 50/50 with Ark in Nairobi , you are getting a unique product and helping a fledgling African company as well.
